Liberty Harbor is a mixed use, mid and high rise urban development, consuming 88 acres on the water front of the city, which upon completion will contain over 10,000 residential units, 250,000 sq ft of retail space, a hotel, parks, and multiple blocks of 4-story single and multi-family homes. Top Shelf Electric is handling all of the service distribution containing multiple 4000 amp services, bus duct distribution, emergency stand by generators, wiring transformer vault rooms, wiring of numerous fire pumps and controllers, interconnected fire alarm systems, branch circuitry, lighting, and Life Safety throughout the entire development. Liberty View Construction was seeking to raise the bar of luxury accommodations and high-tech conveniences in urban living. Teaming up with Top Shelf Electric, their visions became an enterprising reality. Top Shelf installed a vast infrastructure for telecommunications, a network operations center, a data center, emergency power systems and a data testing center. These systems are all established by a fiber optic backbone which spans the entire development and branches to each tenant’s premises. This enabled our client, the developer, to supply their own cable, internet, telephone, and satellite services, in essence establishing a privately-owned structured media company. Our client was able to provide a cheaper triple play service for their residents and a more attractive product for their end user, giving them not only the very best of high tech but, more importantly, a substantial residual return on their project
